Der Handgewindebohrer-Satz besteht aus zwei Gewindebohrern und ermöglicht dir mit deutlich verringerter Bruchgefahr ein fertiges Gewinde zu schneiden. Der Vorteil von zweiteiligen Handgewindebohrern ist, dass sich die jeweiligen Teile eines Satzes die Schneidleistung teilen: Der Vorschneider (mit einem Ring gekennzeichnet) trägt 65 Prozent des Gewindeprofils ab und der und bringt das Gewinde in Form. Der Fertigschneider hat keine Ringmarkierung und schneidet das restliche Gewindeprofil um das 100% vollwertige und nutzbare Gewinde herzustellen. Durch die Arbeitsteilung der beiden Gewindebohrer ist es leichter ein gerades und sauberes Gewinde von Hand zu schneiden.
Im Vergleich zum Maschinengewindebohrer, hat der Handgewindebohrer einen kurzen Schaft. So kannst du Innengewinde von Hand schneiden, ohne dabei zu verkanten und lässt sich mit Windeisen, Werkzeugratschen oder anderen Haltewerkzeugen mit Vierkantaufnahme betätigen.
Das Gewinde kann in ein vorgebohrtes Kernloch geschnitten werden.
Durch den kurzen Anschnitt des Fertigschneiders ist der Handgewindebohrer-Satz zuverlässig und universell für Durchgangslöcher und Sacklöcher einsetzbar.
In der Regel werden zweiteilige Handgewindebohrer-Sätze für Feingewinde mit kleinerer Steigung als beim Grobgewinde verwendet, da die Gewindeprofilfläche kleiner ist als bei Grobgewinden und die Krafteinwirkungen auf die Gewindeschneider kleiner sind.
