Reduction from 1/2'' UNF to 3/8 '' UNF
This thread reducer for drill chuck thread receptacles allows the most common drill chucks (with 1/2" receptacle) to be inserted on hand drills that have a 3/8" thread.
Most drill chucks for hand drills have a 1/2"internal thread. This has an outer diameter of about 12.7mm. However, some hand drills have a 3/8" threaded stud with an outside diameter of about 9.5mm.
Our adapter can overcome this obstacle and easily reduce your drill chuck thread so that you can connect it to your hand drill.

Applications
The thread reducer can be easily screwed into a drill chuck with a 1/2" x 20 UNF thread and fastened with liquid screw locking if required. The internal thread of the original drill chuck is thus reduced to 3/8" x 24 UNF.
